Lollipops - Company Message
About Us
We take young children and babies best interests into account which means that we work closely with parents and others involved with the child.
Within Lollipops relationships are influential.  They are the basis not only for effective learning, but also for healthy development and emothional wellbeing.  Through these positive personal relationships with others children begin to learn that they are valued and appreciated.
Our setting is full of opportunities for children to explore, create and follow their own particular interests, allowing them to grow and thrive.  Our setting help's to create children's sense of personal identity and sense of self-esteem.  It also helps to establish the right sort of atmosphere for children to be able to develop and learn.
Our routines are flexible and individualised as possible, they are an important part of the babies' and young child's day.  The more routine parts of the day such as mealtimes and nappy changing all provide valuable opportunities for staff to interact with the children and for the children to develop and learn.
The Safety and Security of the children in our care is of paramount importance to us.

We are very careful as to who may collect your child(ren) from Lollipops. We have a separate pick up permission form for parents to sign which gives additional named collectors who may collect the child(ren) from nursery.  Parents must give the full names and description of the person(s), an estimated time of arrival and the person must have a password (previously supplied).

New staff go through a rigorous recruitment, vetting and induction procedure and no member of staff is left unsupervised with children before receiving satisfactory references and a CRB disclosure.

Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children will recognise and achieve their full potential.
