Learning through experience

About Us
Our Ethos is that children come first and are central in everything we do.
We believe that children only get one childhood and it should be full of fun, exploration, discovery and learning with a little bit of ore and wonder.
Children's early years are the most important years of their lives, therefore we strive to provide good quality childcare and learning that meets the individual needs of all of our children.
Building nurturing relationships is our priority, in doing so we are developing children's social and emotional well being.
We recognise the importance of having positive relationships with parents and strive to work in partnership with all our families.
Our routines are flexible, within the baby unit we can follow individual care routines that meet babies individual needs. As babies grow older they will transition into our routine. Throughout the day we offer a wide variety of stimulating, fun and educational activities across all seven areas of learning.
The Safety and Security of the children in our care is of paramount importance to us.
We are very careful as to who may collect your child(ren) from Lollipops. We have a separate pick up permission form for parents to sign which gives additional named collectors who may collect the child(ren) from nursery. Parents must give the full names and description of the person(s), an estimated time of arrival and the person must have a password (previously supplied).
New staff go through a rigorous recruitment, vetting and induction procedure and no member of staff is left unsupervised with children before receiving satisfactory references and a CRB disclosure.
Our vision is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children will recognise and achieve their full potential.
It will be a place where children and adults feel they make a contribution and are valued as individuals.
We aim to encourage each and every child in all aspects of learning by:
Working together as a team
Providing a balanced curriculum
Encouraging independence and confidence
Encourage respect for others and personal self esteem.
Catering for all abilities
Wishing every child to take with them happy memories of their early years with us.
Our mission is to provide good quality childcare for parents.
Through our partnerships with parents we will support the care, education and development of young children from birth to five years. We aim for parents to be part of their child's learning journey and will welcome their input.
We hope to provide a caring and nurturing environment, which will help children feel secure and safe.
Our practitioners will build strong relationships with each of their key children getting to know their individual needs and interests.
We aim to provide all practitioners with training opportunities to build on their personal strengths to enhance their practice.
We aim to provide an environment that is inclusive and welcoming, where everyone feels valued and listened too.
We aim to provide a curriculum where children experience all aspects of the Early years foundation stage (E.Y.F.S) covering all seven areas of learning. Exposing children to a wide range of learning opportunities that are fun, educational, challenging and age appropriate.
We want our curriculum to help each child to reach the best possible outcomes through an even balance of child initiated and adult initiated play based activities.
